(A) COLT MODEL 1849 POCKET PERCUSSION REVOLVER.

Dates to 1864. Rather hard to find long barrel with standard full octagon and the Colt New York barrel legend. Five shot cylinder has the roll die stagecoach scene. Barrel has small bead front sight, straps are brass with no signs of plating, varnished walnut one piece grips and the standard blue and case color finish. The cylinder is numbered 189994 while all others are matching 255289 including the wedge and lever. CONDITION: Very good. While the barrel retains some flashes of bright blue, the balance of gun is basically a smooth patina. All legends are sharp and the cylinder scene is crisp. Brass is nicely toned. Grips show some finish wear. Mechanically sound with a strong, lightly frosted bore.
