Circa 1855-57. This early No. 2 variation has the full octagon barrel, 28 caliber, Indian Cabin roll die cylinder scene, rounded lever and the Hartford address with pointing hand on barrel. Standard walnut grips, side hammer and spur trigger. CONDITION: Very good. Gun is devoid of any original finish and is now a dull grey patina. There remains only a hint of a cylinder scene. Grips are fine showing some finish loss. Legends are mostly crisp. Cylinder does not advance when cocked. Bore is strong with light frosting.
