This black powder framed Colt was nicely period engraved and silver plated and then fitted with a pair of real mother of pearl grips. The finely done scroll engraving covers almost the entire metal surface of the gun and is quite handsome. CONDITION: Retains 75-80% of the applied silver finish. The pearl grips are excellent and well fitted. Gun indexes and locks up tight but could use an action job. Bore is sharp and clean. Barrel address and frame patent stamps are strong. This is one fine looking deluxe black powder frame Colt cowboy gun.
