The rifle also has eleven silver inlays, four on each side of the forend, around barrel pins; an eight-point star above the cheekpiece, an oval wrist escutcheon, and a teardrop in front of the toeplate. There is also a brass touchhole pick and 2 brass loops beneath the molded cheekpiece. The full length partially figured maple stock is in the Berks County style with a Roman nose buttstock. Complete with its original wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains a brown patina and bore is very good with deep rifling.
