Flintlock Kentucky with characteristics of Kuntz from the Lehigh, Pennsylvania area. Full curly maple stock with finely engraved brass furniture. Brass full saddleplate with engraved "Lehigh Indian" in front of Lehigh style trigger guard. Finely engraved brass toeplate. Four piece brass patchbox with two piercings and fine floral engraving. Unmarked flintlock with shaped single trigger. Silver thumbpiece on wrist and silver hunter's star on cheekpiece. Octagon to round barrel with Lehigh style rifle sights. CONDITION: Overall good condition with good mechanics. Wood has good original finish with light handling marks. Rifle has been shortened and lock is a replacement.
