30" Damascus barrels are marked with Parker Bros Meriden Conn address and "DAMASCUS STEEL" on matted concave rib. Barrels and number 2 frame have all correct markings. Action features automatic safety and nickel-plated double triggers and is engraved in typical "D" style with dogs (pointer on left, setter on right) in ovals, surrounded by scroll within geometric borders. "PARKER BROS" is behind each dog scene. Trigger plate has scene of four fowl in rocky background. Blued trigger guard with scroll on bow, has serial number on tang. Nicely stump figured European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 - 1/8" over skeleton steel buttplate. Side panels have lozenge shaped drop points, and point pattern checkering is at grip. A silver oval on toe line is engraved with monogram "LCS". Matching forend with shaped steel tip, has patent date engraved on typical release. CONDITION: Near excellent. Barrels retain approximately 90% strong Damascus finish. Action retains 60 - 70% original light color, pleasingly silvered on fences and bottom, with no evidence of staining or pitting. Trigger guard retains approximately 30% original blue on bow. Stocks retain approximately 80% original finish with areas worn through at grip and on comb, with numerous marks and light scratches. Checkering lightly worn. Bores are excellent. Action is tight. A really clean Damascus Parker made in 1893. MGM18
