Lot consists of (A) Clabrough Brothers side by side external hammer shotgun made in England in the late 1800s. Laminated steel barrels with smooth concave rib with bead front sight marked "J.P.Clabrough & Bros. London Laminated Steel". Case hardened scroll and bird engraved external hammer action with double triggers. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with stock shield and hard rubber buttplate. Walnut full coverage splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: Metal surfaces worn to a silvery patina with balance turning plum with light surface corrosion. Action fading to silvery patina with light freckling. Wood has traces of original finish with light handling marks and dings. Shootable bores and good mechanics. (B) Parker "PH" Grade side by side shotgun made by Parker Gun Company in 1889. Twist steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight with extractors. Case hardened "No. 1" frame with automatic safety and double triggers and typical "P" Grade engraving. Walnut diamond pattern checkered pistol grip stock with Parker logo grip cap and "Widow's Peak" buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 70% remaining Damascus finish with balance turning a silvery patina. Action worn completely silver. Wood has dry used look with handling dings and marks. Good bores and mechanics. A nice solid old Parker. DLM
