Gun (A) is a Smith & Wesson Model 1 Second Issue revolver. Features tip-up, seven shot, spur trigger and single action. Legends are strong on barrel and readable on cylinder. Barrel and cylinder are a blue-grey patina. 50% silver plating on brass frame has darkened with age. Excellent rosewood grips. Hammer fires but cylinder does not index. Strong bore. Gun (B) is a Frank Wesson two barrel deringer. Approximately 3,000 were manufactured between 1868-1880. Second Type with line barrel flutes, brass frame, rosewood bird's head grips and spur trigger. Grips are very good, brass frame has been cleaned and there is heavy pitting on barrel.
