Lot consists of: Gun (A) 1862 Police Trapper model. When Colt reintroduced its black powder series in the 1970's they brought back the 19th century classic lineup of their original black powder handguns. The Trapper Model is one of the rarest percussion revolvers in the original line and they produced very few 2nd and 3rd Generation models in this style. Features a five shot fluted cylinder, round barrel, no ramrod, finished in the royal blue, with case colored frame and hammer, fire blue screws, nickel plated straps, and one piece varnished walnut grips. Revolver is unfired in original box with the brass tapper. CONDITION: As new inside and out with some tarnish on nickel. Gun (B) 1851 Navy revolver, and is considered the classic of the black powder lineup. Features the royal blue octagon barrel, Naval scene cylinder, case colored lever, frame, and hammer. Fire blue screws, nickel plated straps, and walnut one piece grips. Unfired in original box. CONDITION: Like new inside and out with only some tarnish on the nickel which seems to be a common problem with this series. The most finely finished black powder handguns of the 20th century and are sure to continue to grow in value.
