Manufactured 1891. Standard features include full octagon barrel, full magazine, blued finish, sporting sights, case colored hammer and lever, walnut stocks and rifle butt. All metal surfaces are a smooth, pleasing, homogenous blue-plum. Stocks are very good with some oil darkening on forend. All of the screws on frame need attention and are marred. Frame has had some added wipe-on finish. Legends are sharp. Rear sight is an aftermarket replacement. Lever catch spring is broken. Fine action and very good, strong bore. Forend cap has a sling swivel hole.
