Well marked at the rear of the lock "EUSCALDUNA/ PLACENCIA/ 5631" and just forward of the hammer "1865/ Z.Y.i.COMP/ CB". Spanish proof on top of barrel. 3 band configuration. Most parts are blued with a case colored lock. Ramrod is an Enfield style replacement. CONDITION: Retains a fair amount of original finish on all parts with a pleasing patina mixed in. Markings are clear. Wood has some light dings and handling marks. Bore has strong rifling. Very strong action, fine mechanical function. This is a fairly difficult to find gun, in above average condition. GR
