U.S. Model 1811 flintlock pistol produced by Simeon North in Berlin, Connecticut. 9" round barrel in .69 caliber with S. North removable brass flash pan. Brass furniture with "S" shaped lockplate. Full length walnut stock with barrel being retained by pins. Wooden ramrod. Lock is marked "S. NORTH" / "BERLIN" / "CON" written vertically behind cock, with (eagle) / "U. STATES" forward of cock. Typical US government markings on left of barrel. CONDITION: Very good as cleaned with moderate pitting throughout. Stock is very good as lightly sanded with handling marks throughout and repaired crack near bottom of stock above ramrod channel. Repaired chip above lock. Ramrod is seized in place. Stock cartouche is illegible. Action works correctly. Bore is very good with moderate abrasion. -TN-
