Manufactured 1898. 26" special order Nickel Steel half-round half-octagon blued barrel with special order matted sight plane, special order Lyman hunting front, sporting flat top rear, 86 style Lyman long stem folding tang peep sight, and in .45-90 WCF caliber. Blued takedown receiver with blued 2/3rds magazine tube and plain special order checkered trigger. Special order figured checkered pistol grip walnut stock with matching assembly numbers. Matching checkered walnut figured forearm. Special order shotgun butt with Winchester hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. This rifle comes with Cody Research confirming all options. This rifle has 11 special order options, with some, like checkered trigger, very rarely seen. CONDITION: 90% fading blue with some operating and edge wear. Action worn to a silvery patina, especially in carry areas. Stock has 90% of a reapplied finish with some light handling marks and dings. Shootable bore and good mechanics. DLM
