Standard No.4 Mk.I (T) sniper rifle configuration. Cheek rest on top of stock comb. "M47C" marked on the left side of the butt socket for BSA manufacture. Dated 1943. Matching numbers on the forend, bolt, magazine, and receiver socket. The scope number does not match the number stamped in the wood just behind the receiver, which was lined out and stamped with a second number. No. 32 Mk. III scope made by H.B.M.Co. Equipped with a commercial brown leather sling. CONDITION: Fine with 90% original finish overall and light handling marks. Wood is very good with minor handling marks, appears to have been very lightly refinished. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Black line in glass at bottom, that may be a crack in one of the lenses. Otherwise clear with standard magnification. GR
