Although not in the traditional Romanian contract serial number block, this rifle is fitted with mounts like those on the Romanian snipers. Scope is a period M.S.W. Wetzlar with German style post and line reticle. Rifle is otherwise standard as Czech proofed in 1936 with arsenal reapplied blue, ramped blade front sight, tangent rear, and finger groove hardwood stocks. Mixed numbers. Import marked on the underside of the barrel. Includes a leather sling and somewhat deformed rubber eye cup. CONDITION: Fair. Significant portions of faded arsenal blue are retained with wear and come cleaned older oxidation. Stocks show dings and nicks throughout. Top wood appears to be a later replacement. Well defined bore with some darkness in the grooves. Fine mechanics. Optic has some expected clouding.
