Eddystone M1917 bolt action rifle. Made early 1918. Barrel is Winchester production, dated "3-19". Faint boxed "RIA/FK" rebuild stamp on the left side of the stock. Most small parts are Eddystone marked. Stock is Remington production. Standard sights. Arsenal parkerized finish, applied during the rebuild process. Arsenal sanded wood stock with a light oil finish. Smooth metal butt plate with trapdoor for a cleaning kit. Includes attached military leather sling, dated "1918". CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its finish. Wood has a few minor scratches, dings and handling marks. Bore is frosted, retaining strong rifling. Muzzle gauges at a "2". Mechanically fine. Sling has light wear and crazing. JWA
