(A) Custom embellished Savage Model 99 Lever-Action Rifle with 22" round barrel chambered in .308 Winchester, ramped front sight, and leaf rear. Scroll engraving covering around 75% or receiver and about 25% of barrel with deer scene on right side of receiver and moose scene on left. Two piece, walnut stock and forearm embellished with pressed checkering and scroll with punchdot background, Monte Carlo style comb, and deer scene on right of stock. Complete with sling swivels and Savage marked factory metallic buttplate. Embellishment is not signed with any discernable or recognizable signature but "KV 17" is marked on stock underneath buttplate and lower tang underneath woodline. CONDITION: Excellent with almost all of the custom bluing remaining on metal parts. Very light storage and handling marks overall with light freckling on bolt. Stock and forearm are very good with numerous dents, dings, and scratches throughout. Namely at high edges of wrist by receiver, monte carlo comb, and on lower pitch of stock by grip cap. Carving on right side of stock appears to have been removed and then replaced once embellishment was complete. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. (B) 1915 vintage Winchester Model 1895 Lever-Action rifle with 24" round barrel chambered in .30-03 (marked ".30 U.S. MOD. 1903" on barrel), blade front sight with brass bead, and semi-buckhorn rear. Plain, two piece stock and forearm with ebony forearm tip and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good with handling and storage marks throughout along with gouges in barrel near muzzle and at muzzle. Receiver assembly has faded to a light gray patina with barrel turned to a mottled blue-gray patina. Stocks are fair to good below as sanded and refinished with repairs at forearm cap and right side of buttstock near heel of buttplate to end of comb. Deep gouges and scratches throughout with numerous chips and rudimentary repair involving four pins and slight cracking where a rear sling swivel mount would be. Action works correctly. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
