Lot consist of: (A) Yugoslavian M48A Mauser rifle. Gun is all matching and is import marked under the barrel. Crisp Yugoslavian crest on the receiver. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with light handling marks. Stock is excellent, with minor chips, scratches and gouges. Bore is very good with fair rifling left. Mechanically excellent. (B) German 42 Code K98 Mauser with sling, muzzle cover and bayonet. Dated 1938. Gun is not matching, and is import marked on the barrel. Bolt appears to be from a Turkish Mauser. German Waffenamt can be found on the barrel and receiver. Stock has been heavily sanded and refinished. Sling is a reproduction. Bayonet is marked "42 cof". Bayonet and scabbard are not matching. Frog is dated 1942. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains most of its original finish with light wear in areas. Stock is very good with minor dings, scratches and gouges. Bore is frosted with poor rifling. Mechanically fine. JA
