Bead front sight on machine matted ramp. Sleeved on ring with female thread for sling loop. Rear sight with 100 yard fixed standing leaf and two flip up leaves for 200 and 300 yards on sleeved base. Single square bridge Mauser action with added scope base on barrel shank. Front scope mount with claw, QD rear. Receiver matted across top. Bottom of barrel with BUGN proofs, 8x60 designation and other diagnostic proofs. Left side of receiver with serial number, Ulm proof, and nitro proof. Matching serial numbers on barrel shank and receiver, last two digits matching on trigger assembly, bolt. Double set triggers. Interior of stock with non matching number. Stock is pillar bedded and epoxy (or equivalent) bedded around receiver. Pistol grip with two panels of point pattern checkering with pancake cheekpiece and terminating in a Mauser horn buttplate. Sling swivel at toe of stock. Mounted with a Nikon 4x40 duplex reticle scope. CONDITION: Very good as refinished when modifications were made, retaining the vast majority of that finish with some spots of hazing. Stock is excellent as custom with evidence of field use, especially at toe. Horn buttplate with a few chips missing. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with strong lands and grooves. Glass is clear. EW
