Original World War I C96 with the large red '9' incised into the wood grips of which most of the red paint has faded away. All matching numbers. CONDITION: The entire gun is a soft brown patina with overall light salt and pepper finish, probably caused by resting in holster. The original wood shoulder stock has a non-matching number but is in excellent condition. The leather holder is a fine reproduction set with wood handle rod. Bore is sharp.
