Made by Remington in 1943. Parkerized finish 24" barrel marked "RA" over "Flaming Bomb" over "3-43" date. Correct banded blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. Parkerized action with correct "R" marked swept bolt. Walnut correct "S" stock with "FJA" and "P" in circle markings. Correct top wood. Blued metal hardware with correct stamped trigger guard. Comes with a leather sling and "AFH" marked period bakelite handled bayonet with a green composite scabbard. CONDITION: Metal fading to a silvery gray patina. Oil-soaked stock with no visible repairs or restoration. Frosted bore with visible rifling with ME of 2 and TE of 3 with good mechanics.
