Manufactured during World War II, this Mosin Nagant Model 91/30 PU sniper rifle is marked "1944r" above the Izhevsk arsenal stamp over the chamber. "C.A.I." import stamp is present on the bottom of the barrel towards the muzzle. Matching numbers include the receiver, bolt, buttplate, and floorplate. Complete with a PU scope, which includes its leather lens cap, and what appears to be original arsenal wrapping paper from when it was refurbished. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their arsenal reapplied finish, exhibiting few minor nicks and areas of wear. Exceptionally bright bore, with well defined lands and grooves throughout. Stock shows a small gouge on the right side near the finger groove. There are some small scattered marks and some flaking to the varnish from storage and handling. -MLW-
