Between 1900 and 1903 approximately 4,274 of this model were manufactured; 550 were issued to the Army and Navy. Originally issued with the sight safety, which this example retains. Slide has the front slide serrations. Came in blued finish with Colt logo black composite grips, round butt and nickel plated original magazine with "SEPTEMBER 9 1884" patent date. This original pistol is in fine condition, retaining fully 75% of the original bright Colt factory blue. Near mint grips. Fine bore and action. These are rarely found with this much original blue.
