Circa 1935. In non-cataloged .35 Newton chambering. Blued barrel with ramped front sight. Rear dovetail filled in with a blank and a Lyman receiver sight mounted. Barrel has traditional Winchester barrel address and caliber marking "35 NEWT". Underside of chamber is marked with date 32, 9M/M, and inspections NWS. Bolt body and receiver have matching numbers. Checkered walnut stock with checkered steel butt plate, pistol grip, and factory swivels. CONDITION: Very fine as custom finished. Stock is excellent as refinished. Brilliant bore and mechanically excellent.
