Although Yugoslavia did not originally produce M48 rifles in sniper configuration, it is believed some were built for use in 1990s during the Bosnian War. Rifle remains in standard military configuration with 24" blued barrel chambered in 8x57mm, hooded front sight, tangent rear, stamped floor plate, and 2-piece hardwood stock. The receiver has been drilled and tapped with attached quick detach bases holding a Yugoslavian ZRAK 6x32 scope complete with rubber eyepiece. A leather sling also accompanies this rifle. CONDITION: Fine overall. Bountiful amounts of arsenal applied are blue are retained throughout with handling marks throughout. Stock is very good showing only minor impressions and crazing. Good bore displaying well defined rifling. Mechanically fine. Externally visible matching serial numbers observed on receiver, bolt, and stock. Import marked in barrel. Optic is clear. BAS
