Unique Beretta Model 92 SB Compact documented to have been used for security and anti-terrorist protection in the Olympic Village during the 1984 Olympics. These firearms were supplied directly by Beretta and all training and instruction was done by factory representatives. A total of 13 Model 92 SB Compacts and four Beretta Model 12 S sub-machine guns were issued to the University of California Police Department for this use. This example is housed in its original numbers matching factory box with two additional magazines and comes with a letter from the Chief of Police, University of California, dated February 9th, 1988. CONDITION: New new with very slight traces of use. Blue finish is excellent with on a hint of finish loss at high points. Checkered walnut grips are equally fine. Bore and mechanics are excellent. Box and label are fine and letter/paperwork is laminated in plastic.
