A core component of the United States military's firepower, the Browning M2 family of machine guns are amongst the most recognizable firearms in the world, having seen and continuing to see service in number of militaries around the globe. This M2HB was manufactured by TNW of Vernonia, Oregon, utilizing a new semi-automatic sideplate, with original U.S.G.I. parts and components. The right side of the receiver bears the TNW logo above "U.S. GOVERNMENT MODEL HB M2/ SEMI AUTO 50 CALIBER/ VERNONIA, OR/ SER. NO. 000144". Left side of receiver bears a winged anchor between 2 swords. Metal components exhibit TNW's gray parkerized finish. This example is accompanied by its tripod and T&E mechanism. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their factory applied parkerized finish, exhibiting some scattered marks from handling and storage. Bore is dark and retains strong rifling throughout. Tripod is excellent. A desirable example of TNW's discontinued line of M2HB semi-automatic rifles.
