Fluid steel barrels with thin high matted top rib with brass front bead and gold inlaid "XXV" near breach. Small wedge of scroll engraving near breach in front of barrel address. Case colored double triggers, automatic ejectors and automatic safety. Double rolled edge trigger guard and scalloped action receiver. Buttstock with teardrops behind panel is checkered in two point pattern over checkered butt. Splinter forearm is checkered in three point pattern with Anson push button release and engraved escutcheon. Receiver is near full coverage scroll engraved and marked in banner "Churchill" on sides. Beaded fences, blued top lever, and gold inlaid "SAFE" on top tang. Housed in a toe-under green canvas case with green felt interior. All visible serial numbers match, mechanics are crisp. Extremely fine, near new. Retains nearly all original finish to both wood and metal. There are a few very minor handling marks in butt. Brilliant shiny bores. Mechanics are crisp. Case is very good with scrapes and minor wear accessories are all very fine.
