Originally designed to be a replacement to the M4A1 Carbine, the Tavor's objective was to be a rifle that had superior close quarters handling and a better choice for mechanized infantry. To do this, the Tavor uses a long-stroke pistol system similar to the one found in the AK-47 and M1 Garand to increase reliability and a bullpup design was employed to keep the overall footprint of the weapon down. This is a standard Tavor X95 and has the following features: bullpup design, long stroke piston system, 16-1/2" barrel with a 1:7 twist, polymer body, integrated accessory rails, integrated scope rail, and black finish. This particular example is equipped with an EoTech 512 with 1 MOA dot and 65 MOA ring alongside the railed iron sights. Gun also has a Knights Armament Vertical Grip already installed. Polymer rail protectors are installed at 3 and 9 o'clock. Gun comes with an IWI branded cleaning kit and six 30 round Magpul magazines. CONDITION: Gun is like new inside and out. It does have some light handling marks throughout as one might expect to find on a gun purchased from a retail gun store. EoTech functions correctly but has some light scuffing on the sunshade. Bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Excellent manual mechanics. A beautiful modern rifle that would be a great shooter.
