This rifle is an M1A built on an LRB Arms M14SA with their drop forged receiver. Stock is US GI fiberglass surplus with an added aftermarket adjustable cheekpiece. Stock has been correctly bedded with Marinetex or epoxy based equivalent. Internals parts appear to be all US GI. Trigger group has a US GI bolt. Recoil system consists of National Match guide rod and includes a shock buff. Barrel is stamped "HR" for Harrington & Richardson. Barrel has been fitted with what appears to be a Ron Smith compensator. Rifle has been mounted with a Vari-XIII 3.5-10x40mm LR/T Leupold with 30mm tube and with an Illuminated Mil Dot reticle in the second focal plane. Scope is equipped with Butler Creek scope covers. Correct M2 bipod and sling are attached. A selector switch for automatic fire is present but non-operable and only for aesthetics. CONDITION: This gun is in very fine condition but has seen light use. Surplus equipment is in expected condition with some areas of discoloration and scuffing. There is high edge wear and some light age freckling around the gas piston. Receiver is in excellent condition, as it was manufactured more recently. Excellent manual mechanics. Strong bore with good rifling. Scope is in good condition although rings have high edge wear. Turrets have mushy clicks but the reticle is perfect and the glass is clear. Comes with one 20 round parkerized magazine.
