This is a standard German military issue Luger dated 1939 with a 4" barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, and chambered for the 9mm cartridge. All numbers are matching. The right side of the slide has the Waffenamt stamp. Gun retains approximately 90% original blue finish with some high edge wear, thinning on grip straps, and wear to the convex swell on the trigger plate. Excellent bore and perfect action. Aluminum bottom magazine is stamped "FXO" with Waffenamt and no serial number. The walnut grips have a few dents, are stamped inside with "QR", and have what looks to be some added varnish. Gun is accompanied by an original 1938 Waffenamt marked holster with loading tool.
