There was a time these military issue revolvers were largely overlooked by collectors. They are still one of the most affordable of all military issued guns of this era. Standard features include a 6" barrel, blued finish, six shot, double action, chambered for the .38 long Colt cartridge, walnut grips, and lanyard ring. The butt is stamped "U.S. Army Model 1903" with the military number "No. 203870". The frame is stamped with the "R.A.C." inspector as well as "L.E.". Cylinder release is stamped with a "K". Bottom of barrel has a "K" and "P". Back of cylinder is stamped "R.A.C.". Gun remains in fine condition. The barrel is a pleasing mix of soft blue with smooth patina. Frame is in like condition. Cylinder retains approximately 50% blue, bright in flutes. Grip straps are patinad. Grips are excellent. Bottom of each grip is stamped "R.A.C.". Strong clean bore. Perfect action.
