This pistol was manufactured for the German military and is dated 1917, it was then refinished and refurbished by the factory and issued to the German Army and police units under the Treaty of Versailles, as indicated by the 1920 double date. It has all matching numbers and is fairly standard issue with a 4" barrel, blued finish, checkered walnut grips, and chambered for the 9mm cartridge. The front grip straps have old unit markings as well as added police markings (SPL). Gun is in excellent condition, retains beautiful straw colors, 98% blued finish, excellent grips, and aluminum bottom magazine stamped "FXO" with Waffenamt and marked 6251. Mint bore and perfect action. Comes with an original 1916 dated holster with a loading tool.
