Lot consists of: Gun (A) Avenging Angel short barrel Colt 1860 Army percussion. These guns were nicknamed the Avenging Angel based on the cut-off short barrel handguns wielded by the famous Porter Rockwell who was known as the Destroying Angel and would often carry up to 15 weapons on his persons at one time. Features the shortened barrel, Navy scene rebated cylinder and one piece varnished walnut grips. CONDITION: A few scratches by the takedown assembly, otherwise near new. Gun (B) Colt Single Action Army copy by Navy Arms. Features blue and case colored finish, silver plated trigger guard and backstrap with Colt monogram black composite grips. Comes with a holster. CONDITION: Exhibits handling marks and light signs of wear.
