25" Slim, tapered, octagon barrel is engraved with makers name and address in milled out portion of matted top flat. Sights include one standing, one folding leaf U-notch rear and silver front bead in matted ramp. Case hardened Mannlicher type action with turned down bolt handle is fitted with seldom seen swinging rear aperture sight in spring loaded base integral with bolt stop. Bottom metal designed for clip feed, is fitted with double set triggers. Plain European walnut round knob pistol grip stock with schnabeled tip, measures 14" over steel buttplate, stamped with serial number. CONDITION: Very fine. Barrel retains over 70% original blue. Action and bottom metal have about 50% original case hardening color. Stock retains most of its original finish. A 1/4" x 3-1/2" piece is missing from stock on left side at forend. Bore is very good, lightly pitted throughout. Action is smooth. MGM30
