Lot consists of: Three Mosin Nagant models M91/30, M38, and M44. (A) Receiver manufactured in 1940 by Izhevsk. Matching numbers include receiver, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Arsenal refurbish stamp barely visible on right side of stock. Bottom of barrel is import marked. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all factory reapplied finish aside from minor area of loss on metal on top forward hand guard. Wood retains nearly all factory reapplied varnish and shows few handling marks. Bore is bright and shows sharp lands and grooves. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. Gun (B) Receiver manufactured in 1944 by Tula. Matching numbers include receiver, bolt, floorplate, and buttplate. Receiver is import marked on left hand side. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all factory reapplied finish with minute losses to finish from along receiver and muzzle. Wood retains nearly all factory reapplied varnish and shows little sign of use. Bore is bright and lightly frosted, showing strong rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. Gun (C) Hex receiver manufactured in 1917 by Tula. "Peter the Great" insignia has been obliterated and is no longer visible. Front barrel band and rear sight leaf missing. Barrel is import marked on right side. CONDITION: Metal components retain 20% original factory finish with the balance turning gun metal gray. Wood retains 80% of reapplied varnish and shows scattered handling marks all around. Bore is frosted, having well defined lands and grooves. Action is smooth and locks tightly. MW
