24" barrel cut for rear sight and fitted with globe front is fitted with scope bases holding Weaver KV scope with crosshair and post reticle. High Wall type action is blued, and Italian made vernier tang sight is installed on wrist of stock. Straight grip buttstock of lightly figured European walnut measures 13 - 1/4" over steel crescent buttplate. Point pattern checkering is at grip and on matching schnabeled forend. Weight: 9 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Excellent, showing light use, with some rust spots and marks on metal surfaces and some light scratches in wood. Bore is excellent. Scope is very fine, with scratches and spotting on tube. Optically good, but clouded. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Francis Brown. MGM 112.
