This large oil on canvas painting depicts a Native American Indian chief gazing off into the sunset amidst the teepees of his village. It is set in an ornate golden frame. Painted by the well-known artist Astley David Middleton (ADM) Cooper (1856-1924). The artist's signature can be found in the lower left hand corner.
