American. This nice early swing handled small bucket, retaining early dry Windsor green paint over remnants of robin's egg blue. The bucket constructed with "buttonhole" interlocking willow bands, slightly tapered pine staves, and beautifully carved thin ash wood handle. The handle with chamfered edge large lozenge ends, mushroom cap pinned to the ears of the bucket body. The bottom is inset and chamfered, and the interior with a great dark nutty patina. Excellent untouched original surfaces, with expected very minor in-use wear. 8-1/4" tall with handle.

Condition: (Excellent).
