First third 20th century, New England. Attired in period costume consisting of a tailored blouse, long skirt and Tam O’Shanter cap. Finely molded and well detailed face. Weathervane retains early painted surface over original gilding, now weathered a blue-grey. The support rod with pleasing vertigis. Offered with museum stand. Surface as previously noted with two old bullet holes repairs both in lower torso. All seams are intact, no major dents or restoration noted. Very good overall with pleasing surface.
