October 24-25, 2018 Dolph Gotelli Holiday Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/24/2018
This hand crafted doll house, 88" tall, was built in 1904 in San Francisco. It has three floors and a side door for installation. The roof is solid slate! There is a incredible pair of entry stairs going to the front doors with ample space to display dolls or Santas. Gotelli used it in his museum as "Upton Abbey" and had it meticulously detailed with anthropomorphic animals dressed in English attire. The character dolls from "Possible Dreams" are all in this auction. The pigs were the cooks and maid and inhabited the lower level, the Earl and his visitors were in the second floor library and the top floor was the ballroom were high tea was taking place. The attic was occupied by the crazy cat Auntie who was confined to that space.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
