This standard revolver was manufactured in 1909. It has a 4" barrel, blued finish, six shot, double action, chambered for the .38 Special, and Colt monogrammed hard rubber grips. Overall the gun retains approximately 70% original factory blue, with the screws still retaining their fire blue finish. Barrel and cylinder have wear to the edges and some freckling. Factory stamps are fine. Grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Function is flawless. Bore is mint. These revolvers were popular with policeman at the turn of the century and generally rode on the pocket of their overcoats.
