Issued by the American Historical Foundation, this is number 179 out of 950. The top of the barrel is marked "PATENT ARMS MG. CO. PATTERSON, N.J. COLT'S PT.". The entire revolver is gold plated and has floral scroll engraving on the frame, recoil shields, sides of barrel, and muzzle. Butt is marked "No. 179 of 950". Includes walnut and glass presentation case with burgundy velvet lining. Accessories included are a cleaning rod, capper, brass powder flask charger, bullet mold and keys, as well as an extra blued cylinder. The gun remains in mint unfired condition with no drag line and a copy of what is referred to as the No. 5 Texas Paterson Revolver. Chambered for the .36 caliber percussion with a 9" barrel. Grips are deluxe walnut. Stunning.
