Caliber .22-250, Barrel length 26”. The basis for this custom rifle was an original Mauser Model 98 Nazi marked receiver. It was re-barreled, sans sights, and is stamped “Sprague” All metal retains 99% of the custom reapplied finish. There is a scope base mounted at barrel. The bridge has a standard mount and rings (missing screws) and no scope. Has highly figured, high gloss walnut stock that has been finely checkered with black forend tip and grip cap, with Monte Carlo comb, and Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. Sling eyes are installed. Rifle has been fitted with double set triggers has a black composite floor plate with antler game. Fine bore and action. Very handsome early Mauser sporting rifle.
