16 bore, Barrel length 28”. 2-3/4” chamber, modified choke, plain barrel with bead front. 14” LOP, blued finish with pistol grip checkered walnut stock. Designed by John Browning, utilizing the A-5 square back or hump back receiver. Catalog designation is the Remington Model 11, it was introduced in 1911. One of the first truly successful high quality semi-automatic shotguns. Gun is excellent all original condition. Some minor base frame high edge wear. A couple of minor nicks in stock. Perfect action, mirror bore. Bolt is stamped “The Sportsman”.
