Barrel length 35” bore diameter .38 percussion. Lock and barrel are stamped T. Keller, who operated a gun shop in Carlisle PA in the mid-19th century. Features: Full octagon barrel, back lock action, curly maple one piece stock, 3 brass thimbles retain the cleaning rod. Adjustable set trigger, engraved side plate and hammer, engraved brass patch box, engraved toe plate with simple brass butt plate and trigger guard. Stock has an early expert repair at wrist. Iron furniture is an over-all smooth brown patina.
