Made in Belgium. Steyr Secaucus, New Jersey import rifle with flash hider. This rifle sports beautiful all wood furniture, sling, bipod and two 20 round magazines. Also included is are a black poly grip and front carry handle and assorted spare parts. The factory style finish is in very good condition with a fine bore and action. This fine FN FAL would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
CORRECTION: The FAL model of the Fabrique Nationale de Belgique is a military file that has a "FAL" (Fusil Automatique Leger) marking, followed by the NATO military "Cal. 7.62" marking in the left side of the receiver. Has the civilian ".308 Match" caliber marking and no FAL marking is present. The ".308 Match" caliber marking indicates that this rifle is not a battle rifle but a civilian model, manufactured by FN in Belgium specifically for the US civilian competition market, not for the worldwide military market of the FAL automatic battle rifle. In the document from the department of treasury (ATF 0 7540.1A) it states that there is a limited quantity of rifles which are externally identical to the FAL rifle are also currently available in the United States. These weapons, which were also produced by FN, are designed solely as semi-automatic rifles and are classified as title I firearms. These rifles are generally referred to as the FN Competition model. These rifles will NOT be marked FAL. The markings on the left side of the receiver will be F.N. .308 Match, or F.N. .308, Competition.
