This powderhorn has a wonderful brass spout, necessary to protect against sparks from artillery fire. The horn still has the original leather strap. Inscribed “Wm H Merrow” near the spout of the horn. Great chanford decoration around the spout. Great patina. General wear from age & use. Measures 12.5 inches long, overall.
