This lot consists of a small framed portrait of President William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States of America. In this portrait, the President is depicted looking out, directly to the viewer. His gaze is strong but yet captures the significant duties that come along with his position as President. The President dons a dark suit coat with white collared gold button down shirt and a black bow tie. President McKinley is posed sitting in front of a brownish greenish colored background. The painting is framed in a golden colored wooden frame. This frame is simple, yet displays much wear and some areas are deficient of decoration. Normal wear is present along with craquelure and areas deficient of coloring. It does not appear that the painting is signed.
Condition: (Good).
