FEDERAL STYLE INLAID MAHOGANY CARD TABLE.Late 19th, early 20th century Baltimore, Maryland bearing the paper label of "POTTHAST BROS. BALTIMORE MARYLAND". This fine bench made example with rectangular top and elliptic front hinged above the conforming frieze, inlaid with oval shell patera, flanked by figural mahogany panels all within string inlaid borders raised on square tapering legs, each with pendant belleflower inlays. The table affixed with original paper label on backboard. SIZE: 29-1/2" h x 35-1/2" w x 18" d. PROVENANCE: A most historical and important collection from the estate of Maria Decatur Mayo Deyo (Lila) Garnett of Kittery Point, Maine.
